Once activated, the shared device license cannot be used on a different computer. Note: Adobe “Lightroom” does not work with the Shared Device License. 
Send an email with the subject line “Adobe Shared Device License Admin request” to UW-IT Software Licensing Team will contact you with all the details about the Adobe Enterprise Admin Console. UW-IT Software Licensing Team will work with you on provisioning. If you need Adobe SDL, you must become a “profile administrator” for your set of devices and you will create installation packages for your group in the Adobe Admin Console. Shared Device licenses (SDL) are available for a lab or other shared computer environment and can be installed only on a single device where the application(s) is/are available to all users of that device.
The Named user license holder will need to log into Adobe applications using their UW NetID credentials. Named user licenses cannot be assigned to a shared UW NetID. The Named user license is assigned to an individual and is only available to that user, and it may be installed on up to two devices. There are no refunds, however, we can transfer a license to another user upon request. The license period runs from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.
